The announcement was made during a grand finale concert held at the National Theatre, where participants performed original compositions developed during an intensive music development camp.

The initiative brought together 120 emerging singers, songwriters, producers, and music professionals for a four-day programme designed to strengthen creative and professional skills in the music industry.

The training was delivered in collaboration with Berklee College of Music, with sessions covering live performance, songwriting, production techniques, and the business side of music.

Participants received mentorship from Berklee faculty members and industry professionals through workshops and collaborative sessions focused on artistic growth and global readiness.

The finale concert, hosted by Darey Art Alade and Kie Kie, featured live band performances across multiple genres, including Afrobeats, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, and Hip-Hop.

The night also included reinterpretations of global classics and contemporary Nigerian hits, alongside guest performances from artists such as Teni and the Loud Choir.

Speaking at the event, Tiwa Savage described the programme as a milestone in her foundation’s mission to expand access to world-class music education in Africa.

She noted that the initiative reflects a broader vision of equipping African creatives with the tools and exposure needed to compete globally.

A representative from Berklee College of Music said the programme emphasised collaboration, creativity, and long-term career development for emerging artists.
