In a heartfelt interview with Zeze Mills on YouTube, Tiwa opened up about the 2021 leak of her s*x tape and the devastating loss of her father, describing the period as a double blow that tested her strength.

“My dad died and my s3x tape was released. The only way I could have survived was not to think about it,” Tiwa shared. Despite facing intense public scrutiny and even blackmail threats, she refused to dwell on the negativity.

Grateful for the chance to finally tell her story, Tiwa said, “Just the fact that people still want to hear what I have to say after how many years feels good. I’ve gone through so much, but have I really enjoyed the moment?”

On a more personal note, the “Somebody’s Son” singer was candid about her love life, admitting that she has yet to experience what she defines as true love.

“I don’t think I’ve experienced true love apart from my son. Every time I look back at my relationships, I realise it wasn’t love — it was just infatuation. Even when I was married, I don’t think I experienced true love,” she revealed.
