A group of government and business leaders visited Ilase to inspect building activities at the anticipated KOKO beach in order to promote Nigeria’s tourism potential.

Ilase is a town in Amuwo Odofin LGA, Lagos.

The crew that toured the project on Sunday included Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Aliko Dangote.

Also in attendance were Cecil Hammond, chief executive officer (CEO), Flytime promotions; Adebisi Adebutu, CEO & chairman Arbico Construction; Godwin Emefiele, central bank governor; Richie Shittu, founder & promoter, KOKO Beach Hotels & Resorts; Femi Otedola, chairman, Geregu Power Plc and Amaju Pinnick, President, Nigerian Football Association.

They also took a tour to Ibeshe/Ikaare beach to inspect the ongoing construction of Koko Beach Hotels & Resorts designed to boost the tourism potential of Nigeria.

The Koko Beach Hotels & Resorts, on completion, will be a privately-owned beach.

The hotel and resorts will operate a shuttle service from designated docks on the Island.
