Mayorkun Fire Rumor Debunked

Toyin Adewale debunks reports claiming her son Mayorkun’s house was affected by fire, urging media outlets to verify information before publishing

Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale has refuted viral reports alleging that her son, singer Mayorkun, lost his Lagos residence to a fire incident.

The Mayorkun fire rumor began circulating online following a report that claimed an explosion led to a blaze at the singer’s home, suggesting that he and his family narrowly escaped.

Reacting via her Instagram page, Toyin Adewale strongly dismissed the claims, questioning the credibility of the publication and criticising the lack of proper verification before the story was shared publicly.

She expressed frustration over the spread of unverified information, stating that such reports caused unnecessary panic among family members, friends, and fans who reached out in concern.

The actress also used the opportunity to reassure the public that her family is safe and that no fire incident occurred at her son’s residence.

She further emphasized the importance of responsible journalism and fact-checking before publishing sensitive news.

As of the time of reporting, there has been no confirmation from emergency services or official authorities supporting the claim of any fire outbreak at the property.
