Chelsea midfielder, Mateo Kovacic is close to leaving Stamford Bridge after agreeing on personal terms with Manchester City.

Kovacic is out of contract next year with Chelsea, and the Blues are actively looking to sell players who have 12 months remaining on their deal instead of seeing them leave the club on a free transfer next summer.
Man City were given permission by Chelsea to hold talks with Kovacic last week over a move this summer transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Pep Guardiola’s side have now agreed on a contract with the Croatia international.
The Premier League champions will now continue negotiations with Chelsea over a fee for Kovacic, who was signed in a £40m deal from Real Madrid back in 2019.
