Former Big Brother Naija housemate Venita Akpofure has threatened legal action against a social media user who accused her of moving from one relationship to another.

Venita Akpofure issued the warning during a heated exchange on X, where the user described her as a “let-down” and alleged she frequently changed partners.
Responding directly, Venita Akpofure dismissed the claim and challenged the accuser to provide verifiable evidence to support the allegation.
She warned that failure to do so could result in legal consequences, including charges of defamation and slander.
“Somebody should warn that 150-gram girl that defamation and slander will have me lock her up,” Venita Akpofure wrote, adding that the user should be prepared to provide proof of the claims or face legal action.
The reality television star also indicated she was willing to pursue the matter further, calling for information that could help identify the individual behind the account.
The exchange has sparked reactions online, with users debating the limits of free speech and accountability on social media platforms.
