Wizkid asks Asake to perform “Remember” at his wedding, calling him a blessing to African music and one of the continent’s top vocalists
Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has revealed that he wants fellow artist Asake to perform at his wedding.

The announcement came during a recent appearance on Apple Music radio alongside DJ Tunez.
Wizkid said the song “Omo Ope” made him an instant fan of Asake, but “Remember” is his favourite track and the one he hopes will be performed at his ceremony.
“You are amazing, you have one of the most special voices from home [Africa] and in the world. I have told you that like a million times and I am saying it again on radio. You are a blessing to African music,” Wizkid said.
The Starboy boss praised Asake as one of Africa’s and the world’s most talented vocalists, describing him as a significant influence in African music.
Wizkid is currently in a romantic relationship with his third baby mama and manager, Jada P.
The couple share three children, including two boys and a girl.
