The Wizkid Spotify record places the Nigerian artist at the top of Africa’s most streamed musicians on the platform.

South African singer Tyla has accumulated 3.7 billion streams, and Nigerian artist Ayra Starr follows with 3.3 billion.

Wizkid’s collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake on “One Dance” accounts for nearly four billion streams, while “Essence” featuring Tems has passed 334 million.

Wizkid’s most streamed project is the album Made In Lagos Deluxe, which has generated more than one billion streams on the platform.

The singer has also earned international recognition beyond streaming numbers.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun has received multiple awards and nominations, including a Grammy Award for work on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack.
