Nigerian singer Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan, and his partner, Davita Lamai, have announced October 24, 2026, as the date for their wedding celebrations.
The couple revealed the date in a video shared on Instagram on Thursday night, accompanied by the simple caption, “24 October 2026”.

The announcement has offered fans a glimpse into the couple’s family life, with their “Save the Date” video featuring a voiceover by one of their children reflecting on their parents’ relationship.
“When I think about love, I think about my mommy and daddy,” the child says in the clip, adding a personal and affectionate touch to the wedding announcement.
The announcement comes months after reports that Zlatan and Davita had held a private civil ceremony.
In July, the couple reportedly informed friends and colleagues about their wedding plans while travelling to the wedding of businessman and music executive Soso Soberekon.
Their latest announcement now provides a date for the planned celebrations, drawing attention to a relationship they have largely kept away from the spotlight.
Zlatan and Davita are parents to two sons. Their first child, Toluwalase Omoniyi, was born in 2020, while their second son, Benaiah Omoniyi, arrived in 2024.
The inclusion of one of their children in the wedding video highlights the family’s role in the milestone and gives the announcement a warm, personal feel.
Zlatan, known for his contributions to Nigeria’s street-pop and Afrobeats scene, has built a successful music career while sharing selected moments of his private life with fans.
