Carlcare, known as the official customer support for popular brands such as itel, TECNO, Infinix, Syinix, and Oraimo, offers phone repair and technical support services.
In a video shared on social media, a woman passionately drew attention to the thick smoke emanating from Carlcare’s generator, which was infiltrating her compound.

In her appeal, she urgently called on the Lagos state government to address the environmental hazard posed by the generator fumes.
“See the smoke that is coming into our compound from their (Carlcare) generator, Lagos government should see,” she lamented.
Reacting swiftly to the distress call, the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources in Lagos state, Tokunbo Wahab, reposted the video on his social media platform.
Expressing concern over the situation, he assured the resident that immediate action would be taken to address the issue.

“Sorry about that. Noted for immediate action,” Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab wrote in response to the video.
This incident may be another testimony that companies focus more PR regardless of the negative effects of their activities as this negates the payoff line of Carlcare, which is Yes! We Care.
