2Baba’s relationship with Natasha sparks marriage rumours, despite unresolved issues with his wife, Annie, and opposition from his mother

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]igerian music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) is reportedly considering marriage to his current partner, Natasha, despite ongoing issues with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia, and opposition from his mother, Rose Idibia.

Sources claim that Natasha, 30, has become deeply infatuated with the 49-year-old Afrobeats star, even amid his history of relationships with multiple women, including several of his baby mamas.

Natasha’s feelings for 2Baba seem unaffected by the singer’s past, and her determination to pursue a future with him is apparent.

The speculation surrounding their potential marriage was fuelled by a slip-up during a recent visit to the popular Abuja clothier, Seyi Vodi.

Natasha, unaware that cameras were rolling, casually asked when her wedding dress would be ready, igniting widespread gossip about their impending nuptials.

This development has added fuel to the ongoing public scrutiny of 2Baba and Natasha’s relationship, especially given Annie’s vocal struggles in her marriage with the singer.

While Annie has not publicly reacted to the recent events, sources close to her indicate that she remains focused on her children and career, refusing to get caught up in the drama.

A source close to Natasha revealed that she is not simply seeking to be a part of 2Baba’s life but is determined to become his legal wife.

“She’s not here to play. She wants to be the legal Mrs. Idibia, and from all indications, she might get her wish soon,” the source shared.

However, the path to marriage may not be easy. Rose Idibia, 2Baba’s mother, is reportedly strongly opposed to the relationship and has vowed not to support the marriage.

She remains loyal to Annie and believes Natasha’s presence is further straining family dynamics. Despite this, those close to 2Baba suggest that he is resolute in his decision to move forward with Natasha, having expressed on social media earlier this year that he loves her and plans to marry her.

The potential marriage has divided public opinion. While some fans are excited about the romance, others feel it betrays Annie, who has supported 2Baba through personal and professional challenges.

Critics are also concerned about the emotional impact on the children involved, as 2Baba shares several children with Annie.

Entertainment industry insiders speculate that a traditional wedding could take place before the end of the year. However, with strong opposition from 2Baba’s family, it remains uncertain how smoothly the process will unfold.

As Natasha continues to embrace the public spotlight, subtly hinting at her desire to become Mrs. Idibia, all eyes are now on 2Baba to make the next move in what could be a transformative moment for the couple.
