In a recent episode of the popular animated show Family Guy, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle find themselves at the center of a storm of controversy.

The episode, which satirizes the royal couple for allegedly “doing absolutely nothing,” has reportedly left the Duke and Duchess of Sussex fuming.

A source close to the couple revealed that they consider the Family Guy portrayal to be “savage” and have gone as far as deeming it an “outrageous slur.”

The animated scene, featuring Harry and Markle lounging by a pool, captures the couple complaining about the arduous task of creating an Instagram sponsored post for a whopping $250,000.

The couple is not only displeased with the episode’s depiction of their supposed idleness but is also frustrated by the public perception that they are “spoiled brats” and “self-entitled grifters.”

According to an insider quoted in Closer Magazine, Meghan Markle, in particular, is adamant about not enduring what she sees as humiliation.

The source states, “Meghan said she won’t be humiliated like this and is desperate for a solution. They’re in full panic mode.”

The heart of the matter, it seems, is the Family Guy portrayal’s reinforcement of the narrative that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are self-entitled and spoiled.

The couple, who has been actively involved in philanthropy and social causes, feels that this portrayal goes against their efforts to be seen as more relatable figures.

According to a source, the couple say the episode is “savage” and went as far to call it an “outrageous slur.” They couple is also upset that everyone thinks they’re “spoiled brats” and “self-entitled grifters.” “Meghan said she won’t be humiliated like this and is desperate for a solution. They’re in full panic mode,” a source told Closer Magazine. “What’s hit them hardest and cuts the deepest of all is that it plays up the whole notion they’re self-entitled grifters or spoilt brats.” The Family Guy clip shows Harry and Markle sitting by a pool, complaining that they have to do an Instagram sponsored post that pays $250,000. #foryou #princeharryandmeghan ♬ original sound – Freelanews
