Mr. Dayyabu, hailing from the Bello Road Branch in Kano, clinched the grand prize of One Million Naira by actively participating in the promo. His journey to victory began with the activation of his Unity Bank Verve card. Subsequent transactions earned him CashTokens, making him eligible for the weekly national consumer draw, where luck smiled upon him, securing the substantial cash reward.

The Unity Bank and CashToken Rewards promo, kickstarted in November 2023, stands as a testament to the bank’s commitment to appreciating its loyal customer base. The program is tailored to reward customers who engage with any of the bank’s electronic payment platforms, including the Unifi mobile banking application and the *7799# USSD platform.

The promo, slated to run until the end of February, extends an open invitation to all customers. Every transaction executed with a Unity Bank card accrues CashTokens, paving the way for customers to enter the weekly national consumer draw. Prizes in this draw range from N5,000 to a whopping N100 million.

In a ceremony held in Kano on Tuesday, Unity Bank’s Head of E-Business, Eghomware Iyamu, presented the One Million Naira cheque to the elated winner. During the presentation, Iyamu extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Dayyabu, emphasizing the bank’s unwavering commitment to fostering a sustainable loyalty platform for customer engagement and satisfaction.

Iyamu remarked, “We celebrate our customers for their loyalty to Unity Bank and for being part of the ongoing Unity Bank and CashToken Rewards promo. The cash prize being presented today is just the beginning; we, therefore, look forward to having more winners from this program. Let more and more people get on Unity Bank’s digital banking, transact on the different platforms, and they will equally be rewarded.”
