The atmosphere at the Mosan-Okunola LGA meeting was charged with excitement as party faithfuls trooped in enmass to welcome businessman philanthropist, Hon. Yusuf Olaseni Oladipipo popularly known as PIPO into the fold of Asiwaju Solidarity Movement (ASM) under the leadership of Alimosho Apex leader, Her Excellency, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Sustainable Development Goals and a notable member of the Lagos Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) and former deputy governor of the state.

Pipo at the consultative meeting held with major political stakeholders present at the Abesan venue of the party gathering where five wards from the Mosan-Okunola in full attendance, stated that he chose to pitch his tent with the ASM political family in view of their progressive and pragmatic stance towards general welfare of the people, their penchant for allowing members to have their say and platform for equality and justice.

He was full of praises for the warm reception and the open access given to him and the members of his group, which he noted is clear to all based on the warm reception by the teeming crowd.

PIPO promised that he will now be fully involved with the ASM family especially because of the rousing reception given to him, he expressed his conviction that beyond doubts this is the place to be. “I promise to be fully committed to improving on the many recorded success of the ASM family for the greater good of all” he concluded.

In attendance to receive PIPO and hand over the flag of membership to him are all ASM apex leaders in Alimosho Federal Constituency including, Hon Akin Johnson, Hon Akin Bash, Pa Ayo Akinyemi AA, Apostle Osibade, Mr Aseye, Alhaji Fetuga, Rev Ikumapayi, notable women leaders, youth groups and the ASM LGA chairman.

Many party stalwarts there present took turn in welcoming him into the ASM family. In their visible joy, they spoke glowingly of his amiable and people-centric approach to social impacts in the Alimosho Federal Constituency which has made PIPO a household name.

They reaffirm their willingness to wholeheartedly have him become an integral part of the ASM family in the good time.

In his regular generous fashion, Hon, Pipo made available over three hundred sizeable packs of 10kg rice as take home for all attendees, and some assorted cartons of drinks to all of the people in attendance.

For all that witnessed the homecoming of Hon Pipo to the ASM, they left with the notion that the political alignment will further take Alimosho to its desired position in Lagos and indeed national politics.
