Isolo mourns passing of HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, announces burial arrangement

In a solemn announcement today, Olasoju Adebayo, the Executive Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), conveyed the sad news of the demise of His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III.

Acting on the directive of His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Adebayo formally announced the passing of the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom.

HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, revered as the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, peacefully departed this world today, April 10th, 2024, at the age of 64. His untimely passing has cast a pall of sadness over the Isolo community, as they mourn the loss of a beloved leader and custodian of tradition.

According to Islamic rites, the late monarch will be laid to rest today at his palace located at 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo. The burial ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 PM, and it is expected to be attended by family members, community leaders, dignitaries, and mourners from far and wide.

HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka’s reign as the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom was marked by unwavering dedication to the welfare and progress of his people. His leadership was characterized by wisdom, compassion, and a deep sense of duty towards his subjects.

As Isolo mourns the loss of their revered monarch, they take solace in the cherished memories and enduring legacy of HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka. His contributions to the cultural heritage and development of Isolo Kingdom will forever be remembered and honored.

May his soul find eternal rest.
