Power outage notification by EKEDC announces 25-day network disruption from July 28 to August 21, 2025 due to TCN power line maintenance. Intermittent outages expected
Power outage notification has been issued by the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), informing customers of a scheduled disruption in power supply.

The planned outage will run from Monday, July 28 to Thursday, August 21, 2025, between 08:00 and 15:00 daily.
According to EKEDC, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) will carry out critical maintenance works on the Omotosho/Ikeja West 330kV power line.
As a result, customers should expect intermittent outages and load shedding across the network coverage area.
The power outage notification is aimed at ensuring the safety of workers and the success of the infrastructure upgrade.
EKEDC emphasized its commitment to empowering quality of lives, despite the temporary inconvenience.
The company apologized to customers for the disruptions and appealed for patience as the work progresses.
