The initiative, spearheaded by Hon. Akindele Opeyemi, Executive Chairman of Mosan Okunola LCDA, aims to enlighten party members, community leaders, and residents on the importance of registering to vote as part of strengthening civic participation in the democratic process.

In a statement from her office, Hon. Opeyemi called on the community to take advantage of the opportunity.

“This is a crucial opportunity for us to come together and discuss how we can enhance voter registration in our community.

Informed citizens are the backbone of a thriving democracy, and it is imperative that we equip ourselves with the knowledge needed to participate fully in the electoral process,” she said.

The sensitization meeting will cover key issues such as the registration process, eligibility requirements, and the vital role of voter participation in shaping the future of Alimosho.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions and seek clarification on the process.
