BBNaija winner Imisi Ayanwale admits she felt intimidated in the house and reflects on her confusing dynamic with Kaybobo

Imisi Ayanwale intimidation experience during her time in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house has been revealed by the reality show’s latest winner.

Speaking candidly in a post-show interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Tuesday, the 25-year-old disclosed that she struggled with confidence in her first week in the house.

“I remember after one of my diary sessions, I was on my bed and asked myself how I can do this. There were lots of people who came from very good backgrounds their fashion sense, the way they spoke.

I was not confident, and I was intimidated,” Imisi confessed.

The BBNaija champion also spoke about her complex relationship with fellow housemate Kaybobo, describing their dynamic as “confusing and unpredictable.”

“He hated Faith because I liked Faith. Kaybobo is always like that. Once he knows I like someone, he starts poking fun at them.

At times when he’s not with his mic or camera, there’s a way he looks at me or acts differently. I don’t know… but I think he likes me. I really think he does,” she said with a laugh.

Despite her early insecurities, Imisi Ayanwale emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, securing a commanding 42.8% of the total votes, nearly triple the votes of first runner-up Dede, who garnered 15.94%.

Other finalists included Koyin (15.23%), Sultana (7.94%), Kola (5.48%), Jason Jae (4.24%), Mensan (3.54%), Isabella (3.07%), and Kaybobo (1.72%).

Following her victory, Imisi officially received her grand prize a ₦80 million cash reward and a brand-new SUV from Innoson Motors at a presentation ceremony in Lagos.

While her triumph sparked widespread celebration among fans, some online critics alleged that her win was driven by what they called “pity votes.”

Nonetheless, Imisi’s humility and honesty about her feelings of intimidation and growth in the house have resonated with viewers, many of whom praised her authenticity throughout the show.
