He made the remarks while delivering a goodwill message titled “The Real Estate Called Oyo State” at the 2025 Oyo State Real Estate Conference held in Ibadan.
The event, themed “Real Estate and Economic Development in Oyo State: Strategies for Success,” convened leading developers, government officials, and investors to explore pathways for enhancing housing delivery and driving economic growth.

Organised by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing and Urban Development, in collaboration with the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), the conference spotlighted the importance of policy stability, public-private partnerships, and innovation in property development.
In his address, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, reaffirmed the state’s commitment to transparency and investor confidence through initiatives such as the digitalisation of land records under the Oyo State Geographic Information System (OYOGIS), as well as the passage of the Land Control and Administration Bill, 2023.
He also highlighted the Anti-Land Grabbing Task Force as a key reform curbing land disputes and promoting sustainable ownership.
Ogundoyin praised major developers including Adron Homes and MKH Properties for bolstering investor trust in Oyo’s property market.
In his goodwill message, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking lauded the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, FNSE, for maintaining policy consistency and governance structures that continue to attract credible investors.
He recalled that Adron Homes entered the Ibadan market nearly a decade ago due to its stable business environment — a decision that has since produced remarkable results.
He, however, urged the government and future administrations to sustain the tempo of reform, warning that any policy reversal could undermine progress and discourage investment.
The conference concluded with a collective resolve among stakeholders to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors, deepen regulatory transparency, and position Oyo State as a model for real estate investment in Nigeria.
