Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has resumed training in the gym, weeks after a car accident on the Lagos–Ibadan expressway claimed the lives of his personal trainer and strength coach.

The crash, which occurred on 29 December, involved a Lexus SUV carrying Joshua, Kevin Latif Ayodele, and Sina Ghami. Ayodele and Ghami died at the scene, while Joshua sustained minor injuries.
He was treated in Nigeria before returning to the UK alongside the remains of his late associates.
Joshua attended the funeral prayer for Latif and Ghami at a London mosque, paying tribute to his fallen team members.
Just 19 days after the accident, the 36-year-old posted videos of himself training, describing the session as “mental strength therapy.”
His workouts included sparring, strength training, spinning, and swimming.
