The petition, submitted to the Inspector General of Police on February 16, 2026, alleges harassment, intimidation, and cyberbullying by Davido.
It also claimed the singer was verbally aggressive toward Enedah during a cross-examination in a recent court hearing related to his custody dispute with Sophia Momodu.
According to the document, the courtroom tension led to an adjournment, after which Enedah reportedly received multiple phone calls, text messages, and other communications from third parties.
Certain social media posts attributed to verified accounts, including those connected to Davido, were noted as contributing factors.
Rather than issuing a formal statement, Davido shared a photo of his dinner on social media hours after news of the petition surfaced.
Many observers interpreted the post as a calm or dismissive response to the unfolding situation.
Enedah’s petition followed an earlier warning from her law firm, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, which vowed not to allow its staff to be intimidated online over professional duties.
The warning came after Davido publicly criticised Enedah’s conduct in court, which had sparked widespread online discussion.
Davido also made a subtle social media move recently by unfollowing media mogul Dele Momodu, the uncle of his daughter’s mother.

Dele Momodu remains a follower of Davido and reassured the public that discussions are ongoing behind the scenes and expected to be resolved peacefully.
