President Tinubu pledges to protect Nigeria’s peace, combat insecurity, and notes early signs of economic improvement during Abuja interfaith event

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged that Nigeria will not yield to those attempting to disrupt peace and stability in the country.

Speaking at an Interfaith Iftar event with religious and traditional leaders at the Presidential Villa on Monday evening, President Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to combating insecurity and protecting national unity.

“Nigeria will never let people who cause trouble damage its peace, unity, and independence.

We are not discouraged.

We are going to win, and we will win in a strong and fair way,” Tinubu stated.

The President highlighted that terrorists are increasingly desperate as security forces regain ground and reassured citizens of the government’s ongoing efforts.

He also noted progress in the economy, saying, “I can say that the economy has started to improve. It’s improving, and older people are slowly starting to feel some relief.”

Tinubu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve, promising to continue his duties with loyalty and dedication, reinforcing his administration’s focus on both security and economic recovery.
