On his part, the secretary of the Board and chairman of Local Organising Committee, Dr Solomon Edebiri, while describing the theme as apt, remarked that the summit is a strategic initiative designed to reposition the Niger Delta as a competitive hub for investment, enterprise development, and sustainable industrialisation.
Dr. Edebiri opined that the region is widely known for its contribution to Nigeria’s economy through oil and gas, stressing that the legacy lies on a wealth of diverse and largely untapped opportunities which the summit seeks to highlight and unlock.
