The dispute dates back to 2024, when Motilola publicly accused Kunle Afod and his wife of actions she believed harmed her career.

The situation drew widespread attention across entertainment platforms.

Reflecting on the episode, she noted that emotions and misinformation contributed to the escalation, reinforcing her decision to embrace reconciliation rather than prolong conflict.

Beyond the controversy, the actress used the moment to emphasise personal growth and restraint, urging others to prioritise dialogue over public confrontation.
