Ibiyeomie tithing warning Christians as Salvation Ministries pastor insists tithe is a foundation covenant for financial and spiritual growth

The presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has warned Christians against neglecting tithing, describing it as a foundation covenant essential for spiritual and financial prosperity.

The Ibiyeomie tithing warning Christians message was delivered during a sermon that has since gone viral, where the cleric likened tithing to the foundation of a building.

He said no meaningful growth can be achieved spiritually or financially without adhering to the principle, stressing that attempts to succeed without it would ultimately fail.

“You cannot say that you are walking in a covenant if your foundation is not in place. Your foundation covenant is your tithe,” he said.

David Ibiyeomie added that prosperity without tithing is impossible, comparing it to constructing a building without a proper base.

The cleric also disclosed his personal financial giving habits, stating that he consistently gives large sums during church services as part of his commitment.

“The minimum I give on Sundays is $12,000. That is the minimum. Every Sunday. And the minimum I give on weekdays is $2,000,” he said.

He insisted that his wealth is not dependent on congregational offerings, stressing that his financial status is rooted in what he described as a covenant relationship with God.

According to him, even in the absence of church offerings, his financial stability remains unaffected.
