Ving Rhames, the acclaimed Mission: Impossible actor, was hospitalised on Wednesday following a sudden medical emergency at a restaurant in North Hollywood, California.

The 66-year-old actor reportedly collapsed while having lunch with family members at a local dining spot, prompting an urgent response from emergency services.
Fire department personnel arrived at the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
The incident sparked concern among fans, but a representative for Rhames later confirmed that the actor was in stable condition and recovering.
According to his manager, Brad Kramer, Rhames had already begun improving shortly after receiving medical attention.
“He sounded like every day Ving and cracked a joke over the phone,” Kramer said, offering reassurance about the actor’s condition.
Medical staff reportedly carried out precautionary checks before discharging him, with updates indicating that Rhames is now on his way home and feeling significantly better.
While the cause of the collapse has not been publicly disclosed, the swift response and positive recovery have eased immediate concerns surrounding the health scare.
