MarkHack 5.0 unveils Africa’s first Ad-Agency GPT in Lagos

MarkHack 5.0 in Lagos will unveil Ad-Agency GPT, Africa’s first AI platform built for marketing agencies, with live demonstrations and industry leaders

MarkHack 5.0, Nigeria’s leading marketing, media and technology conference, will host the official unveiling of Ad-Agency GPT, described as Africa’s first generative AI platform designed specifically for marketing and advertising agencies.

The platform will be presented by Tomi Davies, Collaborator-in-Chief at TVC Labs and founding President of the African Business Angel Network, alongside Victor ‘Gbenga Afolabi, on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Ad-Agency GPT is positioned as an end-to-end intelligent system built to support the full agency workflow, from interpreting client briefs to generating culturally relevant copy, campaign planning, and strategic execution.

The platform is designed to address what organisers describe as a long-standing gap in global AI tools, which often lack contextual understanding of African markets, consumer behaviour and cultural nuance.

By embedding regional language patterns, FMCG activation models and local cultural insights, the system is expected to deliver outputs tailored for immediate market use across diverse African audiences.

This year’s conference is themed “The Culture Algorithm: AI × Human Experience” and will bring together leaders from marketing, technology, policy and the creative economy to examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping culture and communication.

Organisers say attendees will witness live demonstrations of the platform, including automated campaign ideation, multi-format content generation and adaptive strategy modelling.

The unveiling marks a shift in how AI is being positioned within Africa’s marketing ecosystem, moving from a supporting tool to what organisers describe as core infrastructure for agency operations.

Ad-Agency GPT will launch with an open-access model, allowing immediate adoption across the industry, while a premium tier will offer advanced features such as expanded capacity, collaborative workspaces and proprietary campaign frameworks.

Industry stakeholders say the development could redefine competitiveness for agencies across the continent by accelerating workflows and enhancing creative output at scale.

MarkHack 5.0 is expected to further cement Nigeria’s position as a growing hub for marketing technology innovation in Africa.
