Gerard has become the eighth housemate to be evicted from Big Brother Naija Season 11, ‘Show Ya Sef’, after host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced his exit on Sunday night, September 6, 2026, leaving 16 contestants in the competition as the reality show entered its seventh week.
Gerard’s eviction came just days after the housemate was nominated for possible eviction during the sixth week of the competition.

The latest eviction adds another twist to a season that began with 24 contestants when the show premiered on July 26.
Gerard’s departure means eight housemates have now left the competition, while 16 contestants remain in the race for the ultimate prize.
The eviction also came one week after Goddessa and Sultex were sent out of the house, further narrowing the field as the contestants move deeper into the competition.
The latest development is expected to heighten the pressure among the remaining housemates, with fewer contestants now competing for viewers’ support and the eventual crown.
Since its launch, ‘Show Ya Sef’ has continued to draw attention through its mix of personalities, relationships, rivalries and weekly challenges, with eviction nights remaining one of the defining moments of the show.
