Saheed Toyinbo, popularly known as Alfa Sunnah, has reportedly been remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos after failing to meet bail conditions in a case involving allegations of online attacks against religious clerics.
Reports published on October 7 and 8, 2026, said Toyinbo was taken into custody after the court granted him bail subject to conditions he had yet to fulfil. His next court appearance was reportedly scheduled for November 4.
One of the petitions against him was reportedly filed by Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, popularly known as Pastor Genesis, the Shepherd-in-Charge of Genesis Global. Ogundipe accused Toyinbo of making offensive and disparaging comments about him and his religious beliefs online.
The reports also said another cleric had filed a separate petition over alleged online attacks.
According to reports on the case, the bail conditions included a ₦3 million deposit and sureties meeting specified requirements. Toyinbo was reportedly remanded pending compliance with those conditions.
The case has drawn attention to complaints by public figures and religious leaders over alleged cyberstalking, online harassment and defamatory publications on social media.
