The ceremony also celebrated 35 emerging marketing and communications professionals through its 35 Under 35 recognition category.
Anyianuka, formerly known as Victoria Uwadoka, joins an established group of industry figures recognised by the Brandcom Hall of Fame, including Biodun Shobanjo, Chairman of Troyka Group; Udeme Ufot, Group Managing Director of SO&U; Seni Adetu, former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Guinness Nigeria; Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, Group Managing Director of CMC Connect Burson Cohn & Wolfe; Ayo Oluwatosin, Group Managing Director of Rosabel Group; Sir Steve Omojafor; and Iquo Ukoh.
Her induction recognises a career spanning more than three decades, with professional experience across information technology, entertainment, beauty, healthcare, logistics, food and beverages.
Before joining Nestlé Nigeria in December 2016, Anyianuka served as Marketing Communications Manager at Microsoft West and Central Africa, where she oversaw communications and marketing activities across Francophone markets in the region.
At Nestlé Nigeria, she led corporate communications, public affairs and sustainability, contributing to the company’s reputation management, stakeholder engagement and sustainability communication. Her work covered areas including nutrition, community development and environmental responsibility.
Her departure from the company marked the end of a significant chapter in her career, following almost a decade in the organisation’s communications leadership.
Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Anyianuka has maintained an active role in the professional communications community. She serves as Vice Chair for Africa of the International Chamber of Commerce’s Advertising and Marketing Commission and chairs the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association Committee of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Experts. She is also the founder of Pivot Nigeria.
Her recognition places her among professionals whose influence extends beyond their immediate organisations to the wider development of communications practice in Nigeria.
Speaking at the ceremony, Brandcom Awards Convener and Publisher of Brand Communicator, Joshua Ajayi, reaffirmed the platform’s guiding principles of “Prestige, Integrity and Credibility”.
He stressed that the value of an award depends on the trust it commands, adding that the platform protects its reputation through careful assessment, clear criteria and a commitment to ensuring that recognition is earned.
Ajayi also encouraged professionals to understand that excellence is built through consistency, responsibility and sustained commitment, rather than achieved overnight.
