‘Yet to return’ Kano Pillars FC declares player missing

Kano Pillars FC of Kano has declared one of its players, Sunday Chinedu missing.

Idris Malikawa, Media Officer of the club, disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Kano.

Malikawa said that the player was given a four-day casual leave by Technical Adviser Lionel Soccio, to visit his family, but has yet to return two weeks after.

He said that the player has also not inform the club of his where abouts.

“The Chairman of the club, Shuaibu Surajo, has given the player three days to return or face disciplinary action.

“We are doing our best to protect the interest and welfare of our players, but the club will not condone acts of indiscipline from them,” Malikawa said.

He urged all players in the club to remain focus on the task ahead.
