Teniola Apata, also known as Teni, a Nigerian female music artist, has finally spoken out about a kidnapping attempt.
According to reports, she allegedly attempted to be kidnapped at a concert in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, but her bodyguards fired gunshots into the air to free her.
Teni who had been struck with shock took to her Instagram stories and wrote; “Could have been a different story entirely but I’m grateful to God.”
“Myself and entire team are safe and back home now. Thanks for the calls and messages.”
“It all happened so fast there was no incidence of attempted kidnap. A fight started out backstage and that lead to stampede.”
