The drama in the physical realm may be heading spiritual as more players are jumping into the ring and escalating the outburst of a popular pastor, Israel Oladele Ogundipe, fondly called Genesis, against another preacher.

Recall that Freelanews reports how Genesis threatened to expose an elderly female preacher's dirty secrets if she doesn't take caution.

Due to the descriptions given by Genesis, who didn’t mention a name directly, many were of the opinion he was referring to the founder and Shepherd-in-Charge of Love of Christ Generation Church, Cherubim and Seraphim, Rev Mother Esther Ajayi.

Ogundele added that if the preacher should dare respond to him, he would mention her name and expose her more.

In their reactions, a popular singer, Lanre Teriba, fondly called Atorise, and an Abuja-based lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, have taken sides in the dispute and escalated it.

Atorise took to his Facebook page on Tuesday to express his love and disappointment at Ogundipe for publicly rebuking Ajayi. He, therefore, gave an ultimatum and demanded that Ogundipe should apologise to her within 24 hours.

Mama Ajayi doesn’t owe anyone anything. She is our benefactor. She prayed for you. I want to give him 24 hours to reverse what he has said. I will go to his church and fight him dirty, he knows me well. You can’t talk to an elder like that.

Responding to Atorise, Olajengbesi cautioned the singer for his outburst and public threats to inflict physical harm on Genesis.

Lanre Teriba Atorise is advised to quickly caution himself with his nature of utterances in the dispute between Prophet Israel Ogundipe Genesis and Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi. He should control his emotions now, nothing under the law gives him the right to threaten anybody. A threat is a crime under the law.

The law allows an aggrieved person to express himself or herself just like Genesis has done, but the law will jail a person who threatens another even if he has not carried out his threats. Atorise is well advised because if anything happens to Genesis negligently, Atorise has bought a case he did not pray for. The person to apologise in 24hours so far now is Atorise.

Many Nigerians, who commented, praised the lawyer for his position and also advised the singer not to meddle in what was clearly regarded as not being his business.

One wrote: Are you really aware of Genesis antecedent? I think you should go on line to read his conviction story. Don’t threaten Atorise with lawsuit. Those who don’t know anything about Genesis are very quick to condemn Atorise. The outburst of Atorise might be precipitated by some covert factors. Who knows, Atorise might have been threatened by the loyaltists of General prior to his outburst.

Another stated: The law is clear …. let wait and see.

Obanor Dare wrote that a word they say,is sufficient for the wise.

“Atorise no get sense, Everybody knows that. And I believe law will caught him soon. Egbon pls don’t caution him. Let him continue saying his rubissh,” Gabbygee Gabbygee submitted.
