The General Overseer of Agape Evangelical Ministries (City of Miracles), Bishop Timothy Otu, has been arrested after a married female evangelist who lodged with him in a hotel was found dead in Aba, Abia State.
According to Promise Uzoma Okoro, the deceased, who is a mother of five, is identified as Evangelist Happiness Echezie. It is reported that she lodged with Bishop Timothy at Jubilee Guest House Ovom, Ogborhill for intense s+x on August 11, 2023.
It is reported that Timothy had tried to abscond by deceiving the receptionist that he was going to buy food. The manager of the hotel, who suspected foul play, immediately reported the matter to the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in Obingwa Local Government Area around 1 am on Sunday morning.
When officers of the Nigerian Police got to the scene of the crime, the woman was found lying naked with foaming saliva coming out of her mouth and nose.
