Law enforcement agencies have apprehended the alleged mastermind behind the heinous Abuja-Kaduna train attack, identified by the alias Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known as “Mandi.” Abdullahi’s arrest marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to bring perpetrators of violent crimes to justice.
Abdullahi is believed to have orchestrated the notorious 2022 attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives. Additionally, he stands implicated in the abduction of students from Greenfield University in 2021, further underscoring his involvement in nefarious activities.
During Abdullahi’s arrest, law enforcement officers made a startling discovery – a cache of 48 AK-47 rifles in his possession. This revelation sheds light on the extent of Abdullahi’s involvement in illicit arms dealings, highlighting the grave threat he posed to public safety and security.
Efforts are now underway to ascertain Abdullahi’s sponsors and suppliers of weapons, as authorities intensify their investigation into the criminal network associated with his activities. The apprehension of Abdullahi and the seizure of the AK-47 rifles represent a significant milestone in the fight against violent crime and terrorism in the region.
