Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has celebrated his 79th birthday, marking the occasion with adorable photos shared on his social media page.

The legendary actor, popularly known as the “Lion of Africa,” took to Instagram to share pictures of himself while expressing gratitude.
In a short caption accompanying the photos, he wrote: “79 today. Thanksgiving.”
Among those who celebrated the Nollywood icon were his son, Yul Edochie, and other members of the Edochie family.
Yul shared a heartfelt message praising his father and describing him as one of the most remarkable figures in the industry.
“Nwoke Ike. The Lion of Africa. The most handsome 79-year-old man alive. Happy birthday Dad, Chief Pete Edochie. Ebubedike. Wishing you many more beautiful years. May God lead you always. My man for life.”
