Asa Mother Death confirmed as the Nigerian singer shares emotional tribute, revealing her mother died from a brain tumour

Nigerian music star Asa, born Bukola Elemide, has announced the death of her mother, revealing she passed away after a sudden battle with a brain tumour.

Asa disclosed the loss in an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday, describing her mother as her “biggest fan” and a deeply compassionate figure in her life.

“A sudden brain tumor came without warning and took you too soon. You were generous. The kindest soul,” Asa wrote.

The Asa Mother Death announcement quickly drew an outpouring of grief and support from fans and fellow entertainers, many of whom flooded her comment section with condolence messages.

Asa has often spoken about the influence of family in shaping her artistry, making the bereavement particularly poignant.
