In a sad report, a Lagos-based businessman has been shot dead and he was shot by a trigger-happy policeman.
This man is a 45-year-old man identified as Jelili Bakare, and he was killed by the policeman who was simply identified as Jonathan.
According to reports, the deceased was killed because he questioned why the policeman wanted to search him.
The deceased was reportedly relaxing at Quinox Lounge in Sangotedo, Ajah, when Jonathan asked him to submit himself for a search.
However, this trigger-happy policeman got angry and opened fire when the the deceased simply demanded an explanation.
After the incident, the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, and some senior officers have since paid a condolence visit to the late Bakare’s family.
