The popularity of the show and the immense love fans have for contestants makes the BBNaija show serve as a springboard for housemates to launch their careers into any sector of their choosing.
A major sector most housemates tend to favour is the entertainment industry, with many of them venturing into Nollywood.
In light of this development, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has said the industry is not a dumping ground for evictees of the BBNaija show.
The AGN President wrote via his social media account, “Nollywood! Not a dumping ground for evictees!!! Case closed.”
Rollas further asked if his fans agreed with his school of thought.
