The septuagenarian shared his thoughts while responding to the marital issues between Nigerian power couple, 2baba (Tuface Idibia) and Annie Idibia, in a recent interview on TVC.
Charly Boy, who is known for his bold and often unconventional views, expressed his sympathy for the couple but emphasised that private matters, particularly marital disputes, should be handled privately. He stated that the public does not need to be involved in such personal matters.
“I feel sorry for the couple [2Face and Annie Idibia]. It’s unfortunate. But my advice would be, can we just keep our business private, away from the public?” Charly Boy remarked.
Reflecting on his own long-lasting relationship with his wife, the outspoken star said that while he has had disagreements with his partner, they always resolve their issues behind closed doors.
“I’m not talking from a saintly perspective. I have had quarrels with my partner but we settle in the room privately. You don’t bring it outside to the public to settle. I think that’s wrong,” he added.
Charly Boy made it clear that if he were to part ways with his wife, it would be kept private, with no public fanfare.
“If I were to stop living with my wife today, nobody would know about it. I won’t make noise about it,” he said, reinforcing his stance on the importance of maintaining privacy in personal matters.
