In a video circulating on social media, the veteran musician, whose real name is Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe, was seen in the studio composing and performing a celebratory piece following Arsenal’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League final after their victory over Atlético Madrid.

K1 De Ultimate described the moment as a long-awaited triumph for the club, praising Arsenal players and describing them as champions who had finally achieved their breakthrough after years of effort.

He also acknowledged the contributions of players of Nigerian descent within the squad, including Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Ethan Nwaneri and Noni Madueke, as he celebrated their involvement in the club’s success.

The Fuji star’s performance quickly gained traction online, drawing attention from football and music fans alike.

While many applauded his enthusiasm and support for the club, others expressed mixed reactions, with some questioning his focus on foreign football celebrations amid ongoing concerns at home.

Part of the criticism referenced recent tragic incidents in Oyo State, with some social media users suggesting that public figures should also use their platforms to address national issues alongside entertainment-related celebrations.

Despite the debate, the video has continued to generate engagement online, further highlighting the intersection of music, celebrity culture and football fandom in Nigeria.
