In a video making the rounds in social media, an Abuja-based man’s authority was seen being challenged by his daughter over an undisclosed scuffle with their mother.
She was not alone. Her other siblings also stood guard against their dad touching their mum, who was seen in the video throwing jabs at their father, while the kids were also asking her to keep quiet.
According to the video seen by Freelanews, the children interfered in the fight the moment the dad, identified as Taju Olarewaju and a deacon in a church, mentioned he would send their mum to the grave.
“You’ll not send anybody to any grave. Which kind of talk is that one,” one of the kids was heard saying.
“I’ll rather beat you,” the daddy responded, “Because all these one that you are just acting as if….”
“Beat me! If that is what it would take you to wound her, beat me!” the daughter shouted back.
A source who claimed to be close to the family revealed the recent scuffle wasn’t the first time.
“He always has the habit of beating his wife, Mrs. Gloria Olarewaju,” the source said.
“They have been married for more than 26years with 2 boys and 3 girls. The children have to stand in defence of their mother when he promised to send her to an early grave.”
