Dangote refinery petrol price reduction sees ex-depot rate drop from N850 to N820 per litre, with CNG trucks set for nationwide supply
Dangote refinery petrol price reduction has been announced, with the ex-depot rate for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) lowered from N850 to N820 per litre.

The Dangote Group disclosed the price cut in a statement signed by Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, on Tuesday, noting that the change takes effect from August 12, 2025.
“As part of our unwavering commitment to national development, Dangote Petroleum Refinery assures the public of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products,” the statement said.
In addition to the price adjustment, the refinery will begin deploying 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for nationwide fuel distribution starting August 15, 2025.
This initiative aligns with the company’s goal of operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions.

The move is expected to ease fuel supply challenges while promoting cleaner, more efficient transportation of petroleum products across Nigeria.
