Dr Jane Kimemia receives U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating her transformative leadership, humanitarian work, and societal impact

The honour was presented on December 6, 2024, during the Global Reputation Forum at the Financial Times Headquarters in London.
The award, overseen by AmeriCorps and the Office of the U.S. President, is a distinguished recognition for individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership and service.
Ambassador Dr Edna Frenchwood of the State of Georgia, USA, delivered the award citation, while Professor Simon Hepburn of Aston University and Dr Yvonne Thompson CBE, King Charles’ Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London, presented the accolade.
The citation praised Dr Kimemia for her commitment to public good and women’s empowerment, calling her a leader who inspires others to act.
It highlighted her exemplary service and the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Pin as a testament to her impactful work.
In her acceptance speech, Dr Kimemia expressed profound gratitude to God and her team at Optiva Capital Partners, reflecting on her 27-year career journey. She called the recognition a motivating reminder to continue making a difference and leaving a legacy for future generations.
In addition to the Lifetime Achievement Award, Dr Kimemia also received the Global Corporate Leadership Award, presented by the Global Reputation Poll at the House of Commons, UK Parliament. This accolade recognised her widespread influence, societal impact, and her ability to inspire positive change, especially in Africa.
At the Global Reputation Forum, Dr Kimemia participated in discussions on women in business and leadership, drawing from her experience and Optiva Capital Partners’ global success.
She underscored the firm’s expertise in investment immigration, advisory, international real estate, and insurance, highlighting its role in wealth retention and global access.
During a fireside chat with BBC correspondent Lalita Taylor, she shared insights on leadership and community empowerment, showcasing her visionary approach to driving transformative change.
Dr Tonye Rex Idaminabo, CEO of Reputation Poll International, lauded the forum for spotlighting purpose-driven leaders and fostering critical conversations on global issues.
