The appointment places Emmanuel Adediran among a select group of industry leaders judging purpose-led campaigns across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
The development signals a decisive shift towards broader African representation in global conversations on social impact and creative excellence.
The Purpose Awards EMEA, organised by Haymarket Media Group in partnership with Campaign, PRWeek and Third Sector, recognise organisations and campaigns delivering measurable social change.
The awards span 33 categories, covering charity, environment, equality and public awareness, with six categories dedicated to charities and non-governmental organisations.
Speaking on the appointment, Emmanuel Adediran described the role as both a personal and continental milestone.
He said the recognition reflects the growing innovation emerging from Nigeria and Africa, and expressed commitment to spotlighting campaigns that deliver meaningful and lasting impact.
The jury panel comprises senior professionals selected for expertise, leadership and dedication to purpose-driven communications.

Winners of the Purpose Awards 2026 will be announced in June, following the release of the shortlist in April.
Siobhan Holt, Deputy Editor at PRWeek, noted that purpose campaigns have become increasingly critical amid economic pressures and complex societal challenges.
She said the awards provide businesses with a powerful platform to demonstrate leadership in a pivotal and evolving space.
