The arrested Yoruba actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha may have been been granted bail.

According to a popular radio presenter, Oyetayo Oladimeji, on Fresh FM, Ibadan while anchoring a program, Lagbo Osere, on Monday morning, claimed the actor was released because of continuous strike by judiciary in Lagos State.

However, some other sources claimed he was released based on health grounds.

Recall that his lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, a former chair of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja branch, few hours ago had said in a letter addressed to the Lagos Commissioner of Police seeking Baba Ijesha’s bail on Friday that his client was traumatised and walked with difficulties in police detention.

So it was assumed that he may have been released because of that.
