“We have also recorded over 275,000 new sign-ups to alternative channels covering our Firstmobile, unstructured supplementary service data (USSD) and First-Online platforms.”

The CEO said the figures were a testament to the bank’s ability to support her customers and their businesses during challenging times.

Adeduntun assured existing customers of the bank’s relentless efforts to ensure that banking transactions continue seamlessly, adding that COVID-19 pandemic will not slow down her activities and efforts at staying true to her brand promise to her customers.

In an earlier statement, the bank had announced that it now had 9.5 million subscribers on its *894# USSD platform and quick banking service platforms.
