Arezzo, a seasoned Rotarian and member of the Rotary Club of Ragusa in Italy, has been elected President-elect and will assume the presidency from 1 July.

Arezzo, who has practised orthodontics since 1980, is widely respected within the Rotary community for his longstanding commitment and wide-ranging service.

Beyond his professional work, he owns a farm that produces extra virgin olive oil and is deeply invested in art and environmental preservation.

He founded the Ragusa chapter of Fondo Ambiente Italiano, Italy’s national trust, which is devoted to cultural and environmental conservation.

Having joined Rotary in 1988, Arezzo has contributed at all levels of the organisation. He has served as an International Assembly Learning Facilitator, President’s Representative, Assistant Rotary Membership Coordinator, and both committee member and chair on various boards.

Notably, he also chaired an International Convention Committee and led the editorial board of Rotary Italia during the 2009–2010 Rotary year.

Arezzo and his wife, Anna Maria, are avid patrons of the arts and dedicated supporters of The Rotary Foundation.

Their generosity as Benefactors and Major Donors reflects their deep-rooted belief in Rotary’s mission and impact around the world.

As President-elect, Arezzo is expected to bring a culturally rich perspective and thoughtful leadership to the role.

His blend of professional excellence, civic engagement, and global outlook positions him well to lead Rotary International during a time of renewal and continued service to humanity.
