Ilebaye assault claims spark concern after the reality TV star reportedly suffered abuse during a visit to her family home
Ilebaye Odiniya, winner of Big Brother Naija All Stars, sparked widespread concern online on Saturday after appearing in a distressing Instagram live video in which she allegedly suffered physical assault at the hands of her father.

In the now-viral video, a man believed to be her father was seen aggressively attacking the reality television star while voices of teenage boys in the background pleaded with him to stop.
The disturbing footage triggered an outpouring of reactions across social media, with fellow reality stars and influencers calling for urgent intervention.
A woman identified as Meme later spoke during a Twitter Space discussion, alleging that Ilebaye’s mother had endured years of domestic abuse before fleeing the marriage several years ago.
According to Meme, the mother was permitted to leave with her daughters but was allegedly denied custody of the boys, who remained in the family home.
Meme claimed the boys recently contacted Ilebaye to complain about harsh living conditions, prompting the reality star to inform her mother of the situation.
Despite warnings from her mother not to return to the house because of the alleged danger posed by the father, Ilebaye reportedly decided to visit the family residence to support her brothers.
The visit reportedly coincided with her birthday celebration, which was meant to take place on Friday.
Sources speaking during the online discussion alleged that Ilebaye hoped the occasion would soften tensions within the family. Instead, the visit allegedly ended in a brutal confrontation that reportedly left her with visible injuries.
Former Big Brother Naija housemates, including Tacha Akide and Beauty Tukura, publicly appealed for help online, urging residents in Abuja to assist the reality star.
Tacha said she had often questioned why Ilebaye appeared less active online in recent months, adding that she was unaware the reality star was allegedly battling painful family challenges behind the scenes.
Meme further alleged that police officers later arrived at the residence following the viral livestream but were denied access after the father reportedly released dogs at the gate.
The woman also claimed that the man was highly connected and influential, making it difficult for people around the family to challenge him.
Hours later, Beauty Tukura disclosed online that Ilebaye had finally been rescued, although the reality star had yet to issue an official public statement as of the time of filing this report.
The alleged Ilebaye assault has continued to generate emotional reactions online, with many social media users expressing sympathy and urging authorities to ensure her safety and investigate the claims thoroughly.
