The New Nigeria Political Party, NNPP, has boasted that the former governor of Kano State and presidential candidate, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, is a dependable leader the country needs to get it right.

This was made known during an event, organised by an advocacy group, Triumphant Global Network Inc., in its continued attempt at enshrining good governance in the country.

The event, which was held at the prestigious Zaaz Hotel in Lagos and themed Get It Right ’23, was graced by the presidential candidate of the NNPP, represented by the party’s vice presidential candidate, Archbishop Designate Isaac Idahosa, and the Lagos NNPP gubernatorial candidate, Otunba Olanrewaju Jim-Kamal.

According to the chief host, Prelate of TGN, His Eminence, Dr. Bayo Adejola, Nigeria is more than ready for true change and politicians must endeavour to get it right this time around.

During his speech, the event speaker, a political analyst and CEO of DOMI Leadership Conclave, Dr. David Oladipo, also called on Nigeria politicians to always put the interests of the nation first while providing true leadership to the people.

Otunba Jim-Kamal, while speaking on his programmes for the state, believed that the lack of godliness in Nigeria is the bane of our problems as nation.

“The major problem we have in Nigeria is neglecting God. We lack godliness. We need to go back to God and seek his face,” he stated.

While revealing several notable projects his party has in the pipeline for the benefits of Lagosians if voted into office in 2023, Otunba Jim-Kamal said that NNPP is not a social media party.

“As a party, we’re truly progressive and we just don’t make noise online. We won’t make promises we wont keep.

“One of my five cardinal pillars in making Lagos work include automated free education at all levels in Lagos State, while students from secondary level to university level would be given designed laptops.

“I’ll develop infrastructure facilities to international standards in Lagos and ensure all the road around the metropolis are motorable,” he said.

On his part, the vice presidential candidate, Archbishop Designate Idahosa also harped on the importance of God in the affairs of men, stating that Dr. Kwankwaso is what Nigeria needs at the moment.

“No leader can lead without God. So we’re rededicating Nigeria to God. My principal, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, is a dependable leader Nigeria needs to get it right.

“Amongst other things, we’re going to be president for all. Our administration will replicate the many successes of His Excellency Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in Kano across Nigeria and cut down the cost of governance.

“Our campaign would be issue based,” Archbishop Idahosa concluded.
